ULTRASYNTH3 MODERN TASTE is a free sampler of the two MODERN packs, 128 sounds between them. MODERN 1 is made for today's records: detuned stacks, reese and acid basses, sync leads, plucks, gated chords and pads that keep evolving. MODERN 2 for today's genres: drill 808s, amapiano log drums, hoovers, trance supersaws, hyperpop chords and braams. TASTE takes two from each of their eight families, one from each pack.
Each program is a stack of VAST layers with its own effect chain: drive, chorus, flanger or phaser, a delay locked to the K2700's tempo, and a hall. Aftertouch opens filters and swells the brass, the wheels bend chords and bring in vibrato, and the K2700's sliders and knobs reshape every sound while it plays.
And they are ULTRASYNTH3's own starters. Open any of them in ULTRASYNTH3, the three-oscillator synth for the Mac that made them, and edit it in real time: with the K2700 on USB, every move reaches the instrument as you make it, and STORE keeps your version there.
